Growing up in Texas, snow is still a complete novelty to me. This winter photography walk was so refreshing for me. Honestly, after watching the light flutter that came down and covered everything in sight, it was a must!
On Sunday, I took Tsuki ( the dog I was dogsitting ) to the dog park and it was 70° and sunny as can be. Fast forward to yesterday and suddenly it was 7°. Seven degrees. Like seventy minus the ‘tee’. Oh and sun? Pft, what’s that?
It might sound like I’m complaining but I’m mostly just being facetious. It’s wintertime!!! We went from 70° straight to at least a foot of snow! I decided to do a little winter photography walk around the neighborhood ( or rather as far down the street I could get before my fingers froze off ). It was a beautiful little winter wonderland.
Whatever kind of conifer trees these are, I’m just obsessed with this shade of mint green needles. They even make me like that orange-toned tree branch. Such a pretty color palette.
You’d be surprised by how much color is still lingering around. It’s especially beautiful when surrounded by pure white!
Doesn’t this make you want to go on your own winter photography walk? Stay warm everyone! #winteriscoming : )
