I’ve always loved the rain. We’ve had the most beautiful rain here in Texas for the last two and half weeks. So much, in fact, that everyone has started to sprout mushrooms sporadically. Peaceful, melancholy, romantic and so inspiring. I feel so relaxed after making this post; Bon Iver has been serenading me. I honestly don’t think I could have picked a more appropriate artist to set the mood.

Actually, the only thing that could be better would be Bon Iver covering the country song, “When It Rains”. He can sing anything. I won’t know what the words are, but I know I won’t care.
