Today is feeling like a pretty happy and productive Monday on my side of the world. I love to put my iPod on shuffle in my car because I’m always too indecisive to pick a band and stick to it. I like to leave it to fate. The song that caught my attention on the way to work today was Texas Tea by The Jakes. It caught my attention not only because it was light and happy, but the voice sounded suspiciously familiar. The Jakes are now called Young the Giant. The world makes sense again! The video is worth a watch too, it’s a cute story by Stephan Ng.

On a more personal note, it’s my parents’ anniversary today! 46 years and still in love. Way to set the bar high, Mom & Dad.
