Mmmmmmmonday. The weekend went by FAR too fast this time. My weekend was dominated by Austin City Limits Saturday! (only the best day, of course.) I love, love, love going to music festivals. If my wallet would allow it, I would attend each and every one. This particular ACL was pretty awesome, mildly interrupted by some rain, but of couse that don’t stop me!

This is Michael. He’s one of my best friends and is just about the most awesome person you’ll ever meet. This ACL Saturday was a birthday present from him! Thanks Michael, you da best!

So, for this music Monday, I give you Bombay Bicycle Club. They performed earlier in the day, and I was excited to see them, but they turned out to be one of those bands that surprised me by how much fun they were. Michael and I joked that they were playing real life Guitar Hero. It seemed like they all switched instruments every song! This song, Always Like This, must be one of their favorites because they closed with it, and dude. They jammed out pretty hard. I was proud of them.
