When I first moved to Boulder a year and a half ago, I was looking for a local market to sell my laser cut jewelry. That’s when I learned about the Firefly Handmade Market! I loved the market’s fun and creative vibe, plus everyone was incredibly talented showcasing beautiful, professional work. That really made it hard not to spend all the money I made on souvenirs of my own! Since I sold at the summer Market in 2013, it’s only gotten bigger and better and I can’t wait for the next one.

Beth, the market owner hired me to do event photography of the September Autumn Market and I was like a kid in a candy store! Be warned, this is an extremely photo heavy post!

I’ve been trying to gradually clean up my collection of body care and beauty products, so I was happy to see several vendors selling products with simple, straight forward ingredients wrapped up in beautiful packages.  ( featured above: Spinster Sisters Co )

It wouldn’t be Boulder without some food booths that were as healthy as they were delicious!

One of my favorite booths from the market was definitely the air plant farm! The era of air plants is still going strong my friends, and these were some of the biggest ( and tiniest! ) I’ve ever seen! All grown from the seed here in Colorado!

Bohemi’s jewelry was some of my favorite from the market and her display was incredible! I wanted to live in it.

This beer jelly from Naked Goat Farm won the prize for the most unique ( at least I’ve never heard of such a thing! ) food item, hands down! Dale’s Pale Ale is a classic Boulder beer and the jelly tasted exactly like it! It. Was. Awesome. And I don’t even like jelly!

Crow Jane Jewelry ( above and below ) was another one of my absolute favorite jewelry artisans. I loved the simplicity of the geometric metal work and I might just have to put one of her pieces on my Christmas list!
